DIY MUSIC PR Case Study: Neko X James
K-pop turned pop star JAMES (aka James Lee) and multi-platinum producer NEKO (aka Erik Lidbom) released two pop singles between March 29 and May 11, 2019. All written and produced by the duo, the project was coined NEKO X JAMES. Between the two, they’ve charted over 150 times, performed for tens of thousands of fans, placed top 10 on the Billboard world charts, sold over 45 million units and accrued millions of Spotify streams.
